Supporting The Perins MAT
Becoming a Trustee of The Perins MAT or an Representative on one of the school LGBs is a great way of supporting The MAT - our students, staff, parents and the wider community. Trustees and Representatives have a significant role to play in the long-term development and improvement of the schools and in the provision of strong links with the wider community. They provide support for the Executive Headteacher, the individual school Headteachers and all the teaching and support staff.
As a Trustee or Representative, you would be expected to attend regular meetings and contribute to decision-making and planning. Trustees are appointed by the Members or co-opted by other Trustees. Representatives are elected (staff and parents) or appointed by Trustees (community).
