We believe deeply in the importance of extra-curricular activities in the development of rounded, resilient and confident young people able to fulfil their potential in life and work.

 

We are recognised nationally for our excellent academic standards as well as our outstanding provision within sports, drama, music, arts and a host of other activities. Whatever the passion is within the child, we will do everything in our power to enhance this; to fully realise their potential and ensure that they have the strongest foundation for their future lives.

At a time of tight budgets, when many schools are cutting back on activities like drama, art, music, dance and a range of different sports, Trustees are determined to ensure that The Perins MAT continues to offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities in facilities which can benefit our students.

Both Perins and Sun Hill Junior School are Community driven schools, We welcome the sharing of our sports facilities with other local schools, clubs and the wider community. We consistently strive to make improvements to both schools that will be of benefit to the whole community.

Plans and Aspirations

Current plans include the installation of an outdoor covered space and a new Astro pitch. Our aspirations then extend, when funding allows, to additional Sports Facilities, as well as a new Performing Arts Centre.​​
