Welcome from Perins Headteacher
Welcome to Perins School, I am delighted to introduce myself as the Headteacher.
I am also the Executive Headteacher of the Perins Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) with Sun Hill Junior School.
At Perins we are committed to providing a rounded and rich educational experience for all our students with the belief that everyone is entitled to high levels of individual achievement, care and support. We are proud of our sense of community, with the quality of relationships between staff and students characterised by trust, respect and mutual support.
Perins provides an active learning environment where pupils can thrive and enjoy school life, and it is a pleasure to be a part of this. We are recognised nationally for our excellent academic standards as well as our outstanding provision within sports, drama, music, arts and a host of other activities. Whatever the passion is within the child, we will do everything in our power to enhance this; to fully realise their potential and ensure that they have the strongest foundation for their future lives.
At Perins every student has three basic rights:
– the right to be safe
– the right to learn
– the right to be respected
I am committed to working with all students, staff and parents to develop Perins into a centre of academic excellence. I am confident that we are able to provide our students with all of the knowledge and skills that they need for future success.
If you would like to find out more about Perins and see us in action, we have annual Open Day Events in the summer term and autumn term for Year 5 and 6 parents to which you are warmly invited. If you child is moving into another year group or joining during the school year, please feel free to phone the school office so we can make an appointment for you to come and visit the school.
I look forward to working with all new students and parents at both schools in The Perins MAT. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
Mr Steve Jones
